      Students, get ready to engage in healthy competition, practice professional networking and begin to learn the values and skills needed for success.

      The Cook Off Competition:

      Future Chefs Cook Off is a team-based youth event where participants develop a menu of three dishes – appetizer, entree, and dessert – and execute the dishes in a timed competition.  Each group is judged by a panel of culinary professionals on their teamwork in the kitchen, technical skill, safety and sanitation knowledge, and presentation and taste of their dishes.  Winning entries are recognized at Future Chefs Annual Community Celebration (June 20th).

      Note- this is a Closed Event, for current Future Chefs members only.

      Boston vs. NYC to Benefit Future Chefs

      Kitchensurfing BOS vs. NYC is battling it out at Future Chefs – lobster style! 

      For one night only- Chris Hallahan, Nathan Moore, Mark O’Leary and Dane Tullock, will be facing off here in Boston for local lobster roll supremacy. Future Chefs is honored to be the host beneficiary and can’t wait to watch these chefs work their lobster roll magic.

      The 16th Annual Chefs in Shorts is June 14 and for the second year in a row, Future Chefs is honored to be the beneficiary!

      Chefs in Shorts is an epic grill off between 40+ local chefs and definitely not an event you want to miss. Future Chefs will be there supporting some of the chefs- join us!

      Our annual Community and Participant Recognition event is the one night a year that our entire Future Chefs family comes together to celebrate the year’s (many) accomplishments with food, stories, awards and more.  

      The night recognizes the rite of passage for Future Chefs’ graduating high school seniors are making, as well as the many different paths alumni and supporters, alike, share. 

      Future Chefs is fortunate to have  a wide range of dedicated supporters. This event focuses specifically on the students we serve and the partners who work directly with them throughout the year. If you would like to attend, please contact us.
